LANDER REASSIGNED TO OKLAHOMA CITY

The Edmonton Oilers have reassigned forward Anton Lander to the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Craig McTavish announced today.

Lander, a second round (40th overall) selection by the Oilers in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, was recently named captain of the Oklahoma City Barons. In eight games with the Barons this season, Lander has two goals and four assists. In two-plus seasons playing in Oklahoma City, Lander has 31 points with 12 goals and 19 assists in 69 games played.

The Barons have one game next week, a Saturday 7 p.m. contest at San Antonio.
