The Oklahoma City Barons signed defenseman Dan Ringwald to a PTO, Barons General Manager Bill Scott announced today.

Ringwald, a 6-2, 190-pounder from Oakville, Ontario is making his second appearance with the Barons.  He was signed to a PTO by Oklahoma City earlier this month and appeared in the Barons two-game set against the Abbotsford Heat.  He has played the majority of the season with the Stockton Thunder, the Barons ECHL affiliate.  He has played 10 games with the Thunder and has scored five points (1-4-5).

The second-year pro skated with Stockton last season, recording 23 points (1-22-23) in 61 games.  Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at the Rochester Institute of Technology where he 123 points (21-102-123) in 146 games.  Ringwald attended the Barons training camp in early October.

The Barons skate in back-to-back home games this weekend against the Abbotsford Heat at the Cox Convention Center.  Faceoff is 7 p.m.  The Heat are the AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames.  Tickets for the games start at just $10 and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets including the Cox Convention Center box office.
