HAMILTON OVERCOMES INJURIES FOR CAREER SEASON
By Chad Hudson,
As the Oklahoma City Barons head into the offseason, Curtis Hamilton is looking to build off of his season that saw him record career highs in goals, assists and points (8-8-16) in 43 games played.
Even with the career highs, Hamilton felt this season was the culmination of his professional experience so far.
“It’s been a trying couple seasons, I’ve been getting some unlucky bounces with the injury bug,” Hamilton said.
Even with the injuries coming, Hamilton was happy with the way he played when he got the opportunities.
“I think I bounced back and played pretty well when I had the chance to play and it’s the positives you can take from [going through that experience],” Hamilton said.
Hamilton gained valuable experience during this season, but hopes next season is the end of his injury bug run-ins.
It’s going to be a offseason full of training, but Hamilton already knows what his main goal is: “Make sure, come [training] camp time next year, I’m ready to go,” he said.
