ALUMNI REPORT: PITLICK SCORES FIRST NHL GOAL

Tyler Pitlick scored his first NHL goal Saturday afternoon in the Edmonton Oilers’ 5-4 loss to the Phoenix Coytoes. Pitlick’s unassisted goal came at 9:59 of the first period against Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith.
The goal was Pitlick’s only shot of the game as he registered three hits before leaving the game in the second period with a lower body injury.
Pitlick scored 40 points (11-29-40) in 113 games with the Barons, including 3 points (1-2-3) in 7 games this season. Oklahoma City faces the San Antonio Rampage tonight at 7 p.m. CT.
