5 Things

Planning on attending the Oklahoma City Barons games this weekend? Here are the five things you need to know.

What are this weekend’s promotions?
Friday night features the return of our $2 beer and $1 hot dog concession specials. Someone will Drive Away Saturday night in a 2013 Dodge Avenger. You can register online here, and be sure to register when you arrive at the arena Saturday night.

Saturday's scheduled giveaway is a #1 fan car sign courtesy of Dr. Pepper for the first 2,000 fans through the doors.

Have you checked out The Edge?
The Edge, the Oklahoma City Barons’ official team store, is located on the upper concourse, just outside of section 307. Fans can receive a free sleeve of blue chuck-a-pucks when they buy $30 of merchandise from The Edge Friday or Saturday night.

What information do season seat holders need to know?
The Blue Line club opens at 5 p.m. each day. Click here for this weekend’s menu. Season seat holders may enter the arena at 5:45 p.m. each day. Doors open to the general public at 6 p.m. The season seat holder prize for October will be awarded at the second timeout of the second period on Saturday.

Be sure to bring your jersey certificate from the NHL Showcase!
If you attended the NHL Showcase and received a certificate for the OKC Barons practice jersey, be sure to bring your certificate with you this weekend. Fans may redeem that voucher on the upper concourse at the fan services table.  If you are unable to attend any of the games this weekend, please call our office at 232-GOAL for information on redemption.

Who are the Barons playing this weekend?
The Barons open a set of back-to-back home games against the Abbotsford Heat (Calgary Flames) in the AHL’s version of the Battle of Alberta. This is the first of 8 games between the West Division rivals. Oklahoma City is 12-4-0-0 all-time against Abbotsford.

Fans can listen to both games locally on KXY 96.1 FM in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night or via the iHeart radio app. If you're outside the United States, click here for online listening options.

Game notes are published for each game and can be found here.

Friday night's gamesheet is available here, while fans can access Saturday's sheet here.
