FIVE THINGS TO KNOW: NOVEMBER 1-2
By Cassie Gage,
Planning on attending the Oklahoma City Barons games this weekend? Here are the five things you need to know.
What are the promotions for this weekend?
Friday night is Barons Night and that means $2 beers and $1 hot dogs from 6-8 p.m. Kids are also encouraged to attend Friday night’s “Thriller” game in costume. They’ll be candy for kids that attend the game dressed up.
Saturday night is the return of our Drive Away Every Saturday promotion. Fans can register at our sponsors, online and at the game for a chance to win Hyundai Elantra.
Saturday is also Crosstown Rivals Night. Fans have the choice of a crimson ball cap or orange ball cap, each with the Barons, on entry Saturday night. There are 1,000 caps of each color available.
What are the Barons doing for Movember?
Wear your Movember moustache to the Cox Convention Center box office and receive $4 off the gameday ticket price during the month of November.
We’ll have a moustache building station at the spirit table every home game during the month of November. There’s a moustache contest on stage every home game and the Mo Cam will be looking for the best staches in the crowd.
You can also register and join the Barons team for Movember or donate to players, coaches and front office staff participating in the event. Click here for more information.
What information do season seat holders need to know?
The Blue Line Club opens at 5 p.m. for season seat holders. The menu for this weekend can be viewed here. Doors open for season seat holders at 5:45 p.m. and for the general public at 6 p.m.
The Edge has promotions this weekend, too!
Fans get 20 percent off any orange item at The Edge this weekend. This includes solid orange clothing, anything that has orange in the design or logo and the third jersey.
You should probably follow us on Instagram if you don’t already. We don’t want to give anything away, but before this weekend would be a good time to give us a follow.
The Barons are wearing the third jersey this weekend!
The Barons will wear their orange and blue third jerseys for both games this weekend. Replicas of the third jersey are available at The Edge (and 20 percent off this weekend only – see above).
