The best pick-up line Melissa has ever received is “Do you know karate? ‘Cause your body is kickin’!” The 21-year-old UCO student attributes that compliment to 14 years of figure skating and the group classes at her gym, Results Fitness and Nutrition Center. Like her skating peer, Barons Ice Girl Christie Reneau, her most prized possession is her ice skates. If she could have any job, she would skate professionally so she could travel and get paid to do what she loves. Besides all her talent as a skater, she also makes a really good chicken noise.
She's going on her third year with the Barons Ice Girls. She is attending UCO with a double major of Criminal Justice and Forensic Science. Other than being an Ice Girl, Melissa works for GNC. If Melissa could spend the day with anyone it would be her dad. She is very proud of her figure skating accomplishments. Melissa loves how hockey is fast paced and understands the difficultly behind it. Her favorite sport, other than hockey of course, is figure skating. One thing Melissa couldn't live without, would be her cat, Diamond. One of her favorite movies would be Blades of Glory. One of her favorite quotes is: Seize the day. And among her love of food, sushi is definitely at the top.
