Bio
Katie, 23, is so excited to be starting her first season with the Barons. Hockey has been a favorite sport she has enjoyed with her father growing up, and cannot wait to continue this tradition with him. Graduating college with her dance performance degree at age 21, she currently works for the state of Oklahoma by day and is a gymnastics coach by night. In her free time Katie trains competitively as an Irish dancer and so far has achieved champion level status. If she could spend a day with anyone, it would be with fellow homeschooler Tim Tebow. Katie says," He and I were raised very similarly, so I would love to talk to him and learn how is able to help so many people, which I admire him for. I admit I would probably get too nervous to say much though." The two things she can't live without are her iPod and her brother, who is her best friend.
