Bio
Steve is entering his first season in professional sports in Oklahoma City. He works with the corporate sales team and is responsible for corporate partnership sales for the Oklahoma City Barons, Professional Bull Riders shows in Oklahoma City and Tulsa and the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City.
Prior to joining the Barons, worked for 15 years in the medical sales field. Worked with some of the largest medical supply companies in the world including: DeRoyal, Medtronic and Convatec Inc. Began his career in the medical sales industry with DeRoyal Orthopedics where he served for seven years as Area Manager in Oklahoma. During his tenure as Area Manager, he was honored for territory growth, earned President’s Club awards and was a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club five times.
Steve played collegiate football at the University of Oklahoma. While with the Sooners, he became the first freshman quarterback in history to start in his first game of eligibility. Guided the Sooners to a 12-2 record as a starter. Earned the Don Key Award for academic and athletic achievement while on the football team.
Originally from Ennis, Texas, Steve graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management and marketing.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Rebekah and son Kellen. He also enjoys playing golf, basketball, softball and supporting Sooner Sports.
