Josh brings over 15 years of experience in the communications field in areas such as: media and public relations, social media, client and athlete communication and the marketing of sports and events in and around the state of Oklahoma.
From media planning, to corporate fulfillment, press release writing and athlete representation, multiple years in the industry has provided him the opportunity to work on a variety of events and positions. Although his main focus rests with the Oklahoma City Barons professional hockey team, he has experience with events like: Professional Bull Riders (PBR), Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo (RNCFR), Davis Cup Tennis and golf with the Oklahoma Open golf tournament.
All of Prodigal’s creative services are handled within the organization and Josh assists in facilitating much of the hockey specific communication, including an interview and highlight service for the local media for Prodigal-operated events. Prodigal’s varied sports relationships has also provided Josh with the opportunity to work with some of the most well-known names in those sports. Hockey players like Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall as well as bull riders such as Guilherme Marchi and Robson Palermo.
A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He serves as a volunteer coach for his son’s ice hockey team and plays recreational hockey in Oklahoma City. Josh is a scratch golfer that has won the Oklahoma Left Handers Golf Association tournament four times and the Texas State Lefty tournament.
